Don't fall for this scam - they some how place a pop up window on your screen saying that you have been infected by a virus and to under no conditions turn off your computer or close the files... they provide a phone number to call leading you to believe that you are calling a Microsoft tech support team and are polite and even take over your computer so that they can draw circles around paragraphs and describe multiple foreign entities attempting to *** into your system.

They expose themselves however by a certain sense of urgency to keep going on about "don't worry" we can take care of the problem... Get a phone number and a name. call it while you have them on the phone - our obviously Indian or Pakistani "tech" identified himself as Daniel Brown.

When I called from another phone the person who answered "oh ya you must be talking to Daniel O'Brian" I then kept him on the line long enough to open "Rapid Technicians" on another computer and quickly realized from reading one review after another how stupid everyone felt by being scammed so completely - credit card#s, full name, address etc

They are very convincing and make every effort to keep you on the phone - just say I will have to call you back. We rebooted our laptop with out any problem and are glad that we narrowly escaped a professional con.

Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.

May 31st, 2018, exact same thing happened. Got a popup saying my computer will crash if I shut it down because of a virus and to call this number.

When I called, I asked directly if this was Microsoft and they said yes. Long story short, I have blocked any access to money and would truly like them to come after me for the money. I will keep them in court until the end of time costing me not one cent.

They are very smart scammers, very smart. But they messed with the wrong person.

I have fallen victim to a 150$ dollar purchase. My experience was all the same.

DO NOT PURCHASE. Will be calling my bank to file a dispute for the charges.

syssoftwarehubworld is a total scamSame thing happened to me pop up came on screen stating *** was being downloaded onto my computer and to call 1-85*-***-****. I could not get rid of the message that filled my computer screen.

I stupidly called the # and I was told they would clean it up for me and not to turn my computer off or the Trojan virus would take over my computer completely.I fell for it hook line and sinker won't go into all the details too long to explain. And gave them my credit card # I've been charged a terrible amount of money. My credit card company the disputes department is going to help me.

Oh, and they sent me documents one of which said they weren't a scam because they never telephone anyone. No they don't they trick you into calling them!

Today, May 29th, 2018, exactly what is described here happened to me" popup window claiming my Mac laptop was infected and to call Rapid Technicians. I called and they immediately took control of the scree.

A man called something like "Tom O'Shaugnessy" with a heavy Punjabi accent and claiming to reside in North Carolina for the last 10 years said that the computer was seriously infected and they would heal it for some $200 (they might accept Rupees?) and that I had to give a check and the number of my Bank Account (and pledge them my first born?) My wife kept old chap Tom occupied while I looked to their website. Very elaborate site but with an non-secure web address, and then I read the reviews.

We terminated the call and then I Googled their address: 13663 Providence Road, Suite 337. Matthews NC 28104, and the map shows that there are no buildings in that address.

I have gotten my screen locked a few times but it usually worked its way back. Today I called the number and was showed virus reports, security issues, etc.

with my laptop and then the tech went into the $199 pitch. He asked for my checking account number and then credit card number both of which I refused. While he was selling me I used my phone to look up Rapid Technicians and noticed the negative comments and scam comments.

I immediately terminated the call. How do we stop them from freezing our screen?
